Hey guys I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I live in Indiana and they have something similar to that program but you have to pay the processing fees. I would love to donate meat to the hungry but I can not afford to pay 80 dollars to have it processed. They have to be dropped of at certain processor and they charge more then me doing it myself, and they will not take it if you do it yourself. I only keep one deer a year myself and I usually kill 3 or so. If any one knows of away to donate it with out it costing me any money I would gladly donate my deer to the hungry. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

In Missouri, Bass Pro Shop and Shelter Insurance help in the fees for the processing. It's a $35.00 fee where we take our deer. The Mo. Dept. of Conservation also shares in the cost. A few years ago it cost us $5.00 per deer and now it costs us nothing.
You might check with Bass Pro Shop to see if they supplement any programs in your areas.
