I apologize, but I do not know a darn thing about the .17 Remington. But I can tell you who does.... THE COYOTE GODS! Go to their website www.coyotegods.com and you will learn a lot about the .17 Rem. and a lot of other .17 caliber creations (.17-223, .17 Mach IV, etc.). They are a truly unique bunch of mostly fur hunters that think anything above the .17 is a fur waster and the .223 or .22-250 is over-kill.
