One thing I would remind people is that landowners don't want to deal with hunters squabbling over what they see as petty issues. I would call the owner and ask them if they know of any hunters hanging stands on their property and if any hunters will be hunting opening day. Approach it from a safety aspect, landowners will appreciate that and it doesn't make you look likea little kid in the back seat of the car fighting with his brother yelling: "He's on my side."
