I didn't read every post on this thread, so maybe I am missing something.

In the areas I hunt, squirrel season comes in the same time as archery does, and pretty much always has. I'm fairly certain this happens in alot of states....at least around here.I honestly don't see what the big deal is. I've had to deal with that for years. Of course I hunt private land, so I haven't had much problem. If I hunted stricktly public land, and got overrun by small gamers each time I went out, I woudn't be real fond of it I'm sure.
