Default RE: bi-pod vs.shooting sticks

Cronic, I have and use both. The deciding factor for me is weight. I bought the Harris for varmint hunting and it’s a quality product to steady the rifle for long distance shooting. So when I went on an antelope hunt of course I took the Harris. The additional weight is really noticeable when you walk for hours to stalk the game. Two years later, hunting for the same game, I bought the Stone Point shooting sticks. They weigh next to nothing and do a very good job supporting the rifle for long shots. My recommendation would be the Harris for varmint hunting and if you going to do a lot of walking or moving around I would go with the shooting sticks.
