RE: Morning Or Evening
I prefer both. Like you, I enjoy getting out there, in the stand, settled in and watching the stars fade, horizon light up, listen for foxes and deer walk in the distance without seeing them, seeing the woods light up and come to life. Plus, I get more done in the morning before 9AM and home without the wife complaining too much. I usually have decent luck during shotgun season hunting in the morning and better luck during bow in the afternoon. But, I like the morning the best for what I stated above and that it's easier to track knwoing you have lots of daylight instead of worrying aout tracking late in the day as daylight fades.
