A new state law here outlaws the shooting of deer with blue eyes. We can only shoot deer with brown eyes.

I can see that I'll have to upgrade my Tascos to something better because currently I'can't always tell what color their eyes are. Some of the mule deer here are shot running at long distances and seeing the color of their eyes is something my Tascos just can't handle. I can tell nicely at a standing deer at about 250 yards but beyond that things do get blurry and the old Tasco scopes aren't that clear.

Guess I must finally admit that they're not as good as a Leupold.
