I took a cruise up there this past summer and IT WAS AWESOME. Alaska is one of the most awesomest () places in the world. The country is just breathtaking. You will have so much fun there.

One thing though, I'm pretty sure if you hunt bear, you need to have a guide, so if that is truly what you are going to do, I would start looking into that stuff now.
