I have been bowhunting for 25 years and I have killed some nice wall hangers with a bow. I have never killed a wall hanger with a rifle. To me bow hunting is alot easier than rifle hunting. The deer are not yet educated during bow season. The Rut usually starts near the end of bow season so you see more bucks. I always see more deer in general during bow season than rifle. I think most deer start going nocturnal at the start of rifle season. Rifle season is a hole new ballgame. Try muzzleloading if your state has an early season. It is the next best thing than next to bowhunting.
