They have many makes and styles. Some fold up, some you carry like a ski pole. I make my own out of Walnut or Oak and I have a couple Pine sets for shooting in the yard. I like the hardwoods more for hunting because I can varnish them and they hold up better. I have a short set for sitting on the ground, and a larger pair for my tree stand and ground blind....
