Jade, I often drop by a Gander Mtn store and find that their used guns are priced pretty high. Same for Cabelas. Not sure where you live but check your phone book for some gun shops in your area. You may find what your looking for there.
Of course, depending on the model rifle and scope, this could be a good price. A lot of companies are finishing their stocks with a matte type finish these days so it could be a factory stock.
