RE: Knight Disc Rifles
I've got a feeling you are gonna love it....Like the tech said...I prefer the older discs, they are easy to load and unload and I do keep mine to reuse...if your loads get too "hot" the disc will let you know...I also love the adjustable trigger I just have to have a good trigger and the extra screw safety is nice also....when I get in my stand all I have to do is unscrew this safety...which is quiet...and I'm good to go....
My Knight Disc is what is standing in the way of getting an Omega...
I want a longer barrel for higher velocities, but...I love an adjustable trigger....I've decided to hang on to the Knight for at least this season,
with my current loading I'm comfortable to 150 yards....10-15 years ago I wouldn't have thought about that range with a muzzleloader...
It does take a few more minutes to remove and clean the bolt but after doing a few times its no big deal....My brother bought a Knight Disc with a 26 inch barrel the year before the Omega came out....He is the type to buy newer and bigger every few years...That might be my next "new" muzzleloader....Frankly I think Knight was crazy to quit making the original disc rifles....Let us know how she shoots...
Good Luck
