Default RE: Knight Disc Rifles

So it is the older model with orange disc?
I called Knight with some technical questions.. one was which disc it took since none were in the box and the manual did not really state, "this rifle takes orange discs." The Tech Support person then had me check for a plastic sleeve on the back of the rear safety that he said took the place of the C-tool. Mine did not have that plastic sleeve and needed the C-tool which also was not in the box.

We then went over the serial number, model numberand many other things. Hetold me that it was the older model, but not to despair as they were all great shooting rifles. He told me he actually liked the older orange disc better then the new ones as he felt they were easier to handle with cold fingers, and that they were and are, very water resistant. I told him I was more then pleased with the rifle. He then asked whether I had the video and manual for the rifle, which I did.

He then said he would mail me a C-tool and also 20 orange discs to get me started. He also said he would get them in the mail that afternoon so they would get posted right away. We also suggested a few possible loads to get me started. He offered to explain in detail how to get started but I explained I had other muzzleloaders and was able to figure this one out. He said I could reload those disc approximately three times. Which means they should last me for one outing....

That technicaland customer support offered by Knight is the reason why people really need to look close at the brand of rifle they purchase. Knight as always, took the extra effort to make sure my experience with the rifle will be a good one.

This rifle came off an auction site. It was new in the box as promised and really is an excellent rifle. For the price I got this rifle for, I am more then pleased. Others felt that I really did not need another rifle but since I do not value their opinion in such matters that really makes no difference... Now we are waiting for the discs and them we will go to that shooting bench and give it a try.
