So you had to alter the 40X bolt face to the belted magnum (.532) diameter, rendering it useless for just about all the calibers that are normally associated with the 40X action? And I presume you had to disable the bolt stop so a live round can be removed from the action? This kinda sounds like trying to haul firewood on a motorcycle . . . . If a customer came into my shop and wanted this conversion done, I would really try to talk them out of it. My .02 worth. Roskoe
