adapted a compound bow quiver to be used on a recurve?

At this point I'm too cheap to spend the jack on a nice $70 clamp or strap on quiver for my recurve. So I'm wondering if it's possible to simply do the same thing with my compound quiver?

Has anyone tried this? How did you go about it? What were the results?
