Well, I was at Gander the other day and saw a fairly nice used .223 bolt with scope for something like $450. I didn't get a chance to see what brand name or whatnot, but I've been wanting one like it for a little while now. I've never bought used before, so do you guys have any pointers?

The only thing I can remember is that it had the scope, but also that it's wooden stock was sort of flat, like it had no finish. It was not glossy at all.... Does this mean it's an aftermarket stock that wasn't finished?
