RE: Sight pin setting question
It really comes down to personal skill level and preference. There's no sense having a 40 yard pin if you'll never take a shot longer than 30 yards (if that is your personal limitation), but at the same time, if you never practice at longer distances you'll never be able to shoot them y'know?
At 53# and 29" draw I'd be surprised if the difference between your 10 and 20 yard pins wasn't tiny. I'm willing to bet that 20, 30 40 would work just fine for you, although 15, 25, 35 would be a comprimise. The problem with 15,25,35 is that people can judge the difference between 20 and 30 yards better than between 25 and 35 yards. It has something to do with powers of 10s and how our brains are wired.
My prescription would be to either set them or move them BUT practice mainly at 30 yards if possible. This will make 20 yards quite easy, 10 yards a snap and 40 yards a possibility, but will fit in with either your current pin setting or 20/30/40.
