May I ask what that hog weighed? I am booked to hunt Russians the 7th - 11th of Oct. The palce I am going has no crossbreeds or ferals, just 100% Russians, I am wanting to take a 300lb or a little less, I have been on the phone nightly ,almost, with my soon to be guide and he assures me he can get me up to a hog of that size...we'll see. I am also going to be trying to take a Red Stag, they are weighing around 600lbs for a 3 year old or better Stag, and depending on genes, he said that they range somewhere between 5X5 and 7X7. He will not let anyone take a Stag less than 3 years old. Thats also a good looking mount. were his tusks actually that large?, I know that is just a jaw set, sometimes, I have been told they break them off alot.
