Well, take this for what it is worth. If I remember right, Alaska has a minimum requirement of a 200 grain bullet to hunt bison. Wyoming has aminimum requirement also. I know the state laws don't apply here as you will be hunting private land, but I would use something such as states' requirements as a possible guidline. Now, with that aside, I would probably take the .338 Win Mag!! Of course the .404 would be nice also. I would leave the .30-06 or .300 H&H home, though.
