RE: curiousity scent
Curiosity scents can be used all season although, I generally switch to deer scents as the rut approaches and I often times use food scents in the late season. Blackie's Blend is a trapping supply house and they make a few deer lures. I like their Buck's Fantasy which is a matrix lure made from a number of curiosity scents and musks. It doesn't just smell like anise like most "curiosity" scents do. Quick Buck Wick and Greybeards are two curiosity scents that have synthetic pheromonies added. I hear Greybeard's is the one to watch so I'm going to give it a good try this year. Quick Buck Wick has a very sweet, permeating smell and it works real well. Vanillais another curiosity scent that a lot of guys like. You can get it in a candle or as a liquid. I hope that gives you a starting point anyway. Happy hunting.
