I mean come on. Can't a guy just get lucky and have a accurate out of the box rifle?Maybe its b/c some peoplepay $2,000 for a custom rifle then an avg. joe with say a Rem. 700 out of the box comes and outshoots them?
Oh absolutely. I paid less than 300 dollars for a 1980 7007mm-08 from an estate sale that is dangerously accurate.But thats not the norm. I think what Vapor (I appoligize for speaking for), and boddington were talking aboutthe average OOB rifle. Not the fluke out of box.
Sure, I have been there with customs and then oldmossyoak33 comes up with his savage 300RUM and makes a big nice hole. It was humbling. But hey, I had a part in it, I gave him the load.
