Love the site. I have lurked here for awhile. I did it this summer, got my first bow.

Here is my set-up - Mathews LX, Trophy Ridge Nitro Extreme, Whisker Bisquit QS, Beman ICS Hunter 400's, Zebra string, peep, Winn True Flight Release, Muzzy 3 blade 100's, braided strap.

I am so stoked, already tore up some arrows (hit fletchings with other arrows and even hit a nock). I guess I can spend some more money investing in a fletching jig and glue. Man what a mess I am in.

We hunt 1100 acres here in Okla. and I am ready to fling some arrows. Any beginner advice? I plan on going this weekend to shoot from my stands and get some yardages.

Oh yeah, one question, my peep (just a peep ring in string, not a tube) has a tendancy to turn on the string, whats up with that? I can twist it before I shoot and it is fine but what a pain. Any ideas?

What else do I need to buy, LOL.
