RE: question for all (please read)
My wife hunts with me. She enjoys deerhunting the most, but she has also hunted rabbits, raccoons, and doves. She has expressed some interest in turkey hunting this next spring too. I enjoy having her along and to be honest, she's very perceptive. She will often spot a deer before me on the occasions that we deer hunt from the same stand!
We also have 2 daughters, ages 3 and 16 months. I see bringing my wife into hunting as a rehearsal for what I hope to be able to do with my daughters. There are some things that my wife doesn't like to do, gutting a deer being the foremost! I don't mind. I'd rather do it for her and know it's done right than have it botched up. I know guys that won't ask for help gutting a deer, that will really mess one up too. As far as the part about one's hunting buddies not thinking it's right for me to bring my wife....... I don't need buddies like that anyway.
