RE: question for all (please read)
My wife told me the other day that she wants to hunt deer with me next year. I took he out to the range and let her shoot my muzzleloader. She does pretty good with a reduced charge of 80 grains, and I was surprized to see her shooting 2" groups at 50 yards with a 4x scope, being that it's the first time she's shot a rifle. She tears up the 10 ring with my 10/22 at 25 yards with open sights, but she needs her eye perscription changed because she can't see well enough to shoot past there with any accuracy. She still keeps in inside an 8" circle at 50 yards, but it looks like a shotgun pattern more than a group. I'd bet with a new perscription and a little practice she'll give me a run for my money. She also likes shooting my guns, except for my HK USP45 and anything over 80 grains with the muzzleloader.
My only concerns with taking her hunting are that she gets kindof fidgety when she's bored, and I'm worried she might not pull the trigger when she has Bambi in her crosshairs. I'm planning on taking her squirrel hunting later to see if she's able to kill. If so, I've got a new hunting buddy.
