yes the whining is pretty much over while eating. but he crys a lot when we go for walks, places he's never been, i think its cause everything is new and he is a little scared.. i did get that dvd that you said about, i learned a lot from it. im still having some problems w/ him biting, it starts out as play and when i say NO he gets mad and bites. he got me 3 times today and drew blood everytime. he has done it to my dad and a friend of mine, whenever someone stops him from what he is doing.. ive done everything, from putting him on his back, holding him up staring him down to smacking his nose to smaking his butt w/ a paper (not hard) and nothing seems to work, it just makes him more mad. i got him signed up in a class but it dont start till oct. 10th. but other than him being really aggressive he is doing great. he is really smart. he has his name down, and "here" and "sit" so far. i took him for a walk yesterday and he stopped and went into a puppy point and turns out it was a dead bird right in front of us. he caught it before i did.. so all in all things are pretty good, i just wish i could stop him from biting (not the puppy biting) just the aggressive biting. thanks for the help

Have he stopped whining while eating yet? I figured he'd stop whining if you feed him consistantly and he realizes that he doesn't have to compete for food anymore.
