Default Soaking Wet Bow - Help

For those of you not familiar with the weather here on the East Coast the past few days: Pouring rain. Yep, I was in my stand last night from 4:30 - 7:30pm and it poured on me the entire time (saw nothing worth mentioning). My bow was drenched; like I dumped it in a lake. When I got home I towel dried it, used my wife's blowdryer for 5-10 min. and sprayed some silicone spray on my broadheads to prevent rust. I plan on waxing the string today -- I wanted it to fully dry before waxing so not to trap water in it. Is there anything that I am missing? Should anything/ something else be done to protect my bow? Thanks for the help.
