I kept mine on Purina high protien low fat chow all the time for years.
We even exercized ours on a Tredmill on the off season. Always had
clean water with a sulphur bar in it to keep thier blood cool and distemper
down. Made sure they had thier heart worm and rabies shots,which I done myself.
Had large boxes in thier pens to keep them off the concrete, so they would'nt
get arteritist in thier joints. Once a week Ihosed and bleeched the concrete floors
in the pens. I payed more attention to my dogs, than I did to my wife! Alright
you know what I mean!!!!
