Ok, I follow you. I thought you were talking about using a .410 versus a 20 or 12 gauge.
if i am out with the sole intent of shooting tree rats then i use the 410(early) during the month of october i have my 12 while hunting turkey but if things are slow then i will switch loads and use my 12 for taking tree rats
