Retrieverman doesn't that suck? I have not even shot my Encore(with the 209/.50 barrel) since last hunting season. If I had to grab a m/l right now for tomorrow it would be my Scout carbine. Funny I keep the expensive things on the shelf and look to get all I can out of the other rifles.

Don't get me wrong the Scout isn't a cheap rifle I paid over $300 for it but like you said it is part of my arm. I guess when you own and carry a rifle as long as I have the Scout it feels sooo right.

I've got to just start treating the Encore like my other guns and shoot it all the time. I shot about 100 round of .308win out of it last month but have not put the m/l barrel back on it yet.
