RE: Pursuit LT - Ramrod
They sell a T-handle extension that also acts as a short starter for you. You screw the T-handle on one end of the ramrod and the cleaning jag on the other. Then have at it. I like to clean the rifle after the breech plug is removed, from the breech to the muzzle. Especially if you do not remove the trigger assembly. That way you are not pushing crud into the trigger area. And yes you will go over the threads of the breech. They sell a small brush oryou can take a copper bore brush, wrap a patch around that and then carefully almost screw that brush into thethreads. It will clean the mess out of them for you easy.
That T-handle also comes in real handy if you should ever get a stuck patch in the barrel when swabbing. Screw that into the end and get it between your feet and it gives you a lot more leverage to get a stuck patch back out the end of the barrel.
