Where do you measure the brace hight from on a recurve. What is a good range brace hight for a recurve. I have a Great Plains Take Down 55@28 " and its 62" long . Im pulling about 27". I would like to measure the brace hight on my bow just to know what it is and see if its in the right range. The bow is shooting good but I think I might get it to shoot better with some ajustments. Sometimes the arrow will come off the bow with the back of the arrow high. I tried moving the nock but it still does it from time to time. The arrows are gold tip carbons 5575@ 27.75 with a 140grain tip. I been shooting this bow for two years and Im shooting real good out to 20yards. Im going to take it out hunting for the first time this year after two years of practice, can't wait. I think I could get better arrow flight though. Any suggestions would be a help
