DEEP FRIED DANDELION BLOSSOMS

Gather full flowers, away from roads, fields or lawns that have been sprayed with any type of
chemical fertilizer or weed killer.
Prepare a pancake batter (a small amount).
Dip blossoms into batter one at a time, and drop into hot oil.

Fry until golden brown.
Serve hot.

Clusters of elderberry blossoms may be prepared in this same manner.
Wash the clusters, shake dry, dip into the pancake batter and fry.
