At 20 yards I can put 6 arrows in about a 2" group. I try not to shoot at the same dot because it is expensive. At 30, it's about 3" and at 40 it's about 5" That is if my shoulder isn't hurtin and I don't pull a flyer. (I've had rotator cuff surgery and want to shoot my compound as long as I can pull it back.) I noticed that I shoot better if I pretend that the target is a monster buck and I only get one shot at it.
The problem I have at 30 yards and out is my pin is .29" and really bright. I try to focus on a 1" dot but that pin just covers up everything. I'm sure it won't be a problem with a brown background!
