Sites like this one are made by people like you and me that come here to have discussions and share our hunting adventures or to help others learn about different techniques. As soon as ethics or morality is brought into the picture, people get mad and leave for a while or in the worst case people are just lurking and say to themselves , hell I want nothing to do with this website, that alone is reason to delete posts that are harmful to the sites well being.. and when it gets to be a problem and continuse to happen over time it will have detrimental results on us as members of theis site, and the people who view it from the outside looking in..
Do you know how many thousands of posts I have made ? Maybe upwards to 25,000 in the past 6 years. I'm one of the original crew. I think I have some experience in saying that you get nowhere and nothing from an internet message board without challenge, original thought, arguments and debates and discussions on morality and ethics ...... and if you cannt do all the above without getting frustrated then you do not know what you really believe. You think you do - but to try and prove it in type ? Difficult. Trust me, I know.
My point is ........ take away those things and message board grows stagnant. Toss on top of THAT Mod's banning members, and members who've been aroud a very long time, and all of a sudden word is out that Hunting.net is a damn crying mess that accepts Canned Hunt sponsors and edits and deletes anyone who questions why that is.
If Hunting.net is so free to regulate who comes here ....... why aren't they free then to NOT take Canned Hunting sponsors ? The very Canned Hunting that 80% of the members here showed hate and want to see banned ?
Tough question ......... and you'll be hard to find the answer without talking about ethics and morals and having heated discussions about it
