Default RE: New York rifle bill passes: UPDATE

Get Real. How can you aregue with a statistic as simple as 7 out of 10 hunting accidents occured when BO was not in use. To even argue that you are not safer wearing it is ludicrous and to not wear it by choice is worse. But what is really bad is that because you are comfortable with risking your own saftey you think that everyone else should be. Touching on the issue of teaching people the right way to do things from the start, I dont believe the people that will cause the accident are responsible enough to decide what is and isnt safe. That is where it becomes neccesary to create rules to protect the majority from the minority.
Stating that mandatory blaze orange is a bad idea basically discredits the "initial training" that hunters receive. BO is reccomended in every hunting safety course. They even reccomended it in my bow course. You are undermining the training that you suggest and speak so highly of. If elders dont take these rules and reccomendations seriously then why should the young or impressionable hunters do anything but follow their poor example?

Please someone explain to me the logic that is used to conclude you are no safer in BO than Full Camo. If you can succesfully do this I have a job opening available. A well paying job.
