RE: Question about scent control with ATV's

Scent control, noise control and annoying the hell out of other hunters can be avoided by leaving the ATV's at home. I have walked up to seven miles in mountainous West Virginia to a stand location. If you are a dedicated hunter you will put the effort into getting on stand. ATV's have a place but its not in the whitetail woods.

I bought my ATV with for the purpose of getting me, my gear, and whatever I need to get in and out of the woods. I respect other hunters when I'm on my ATV. I don't just go ambling off into the woods around other people stands and such. I've spent my share of time on foot and now I don't have to. If you choose to hike 7 miles into where you want to hunt, good for you. I choose not to. I can assure you I'm about as dedicated to hunting as anyone, so I'd appreciate it if you don't come on here passing judgement on somebody you don't even know. If the whitetail woods are not a place for ATV's then there would not me such a massive demand for them. I was asking a legitimate question and if you don't have anything better to offer other than "leave the ATV's at home" then don't bother replying.
