Scent control, noise control and annoying the hell out of other hunters can be avoided by leaving the ATV's at home. I have walked up to seven miles in mountainous West Virginia to a stand location. If you are a dedicated hunter you will put the effort into getting on stand. ATV's have a place but its not in the whitetail woods.
