In line with the conversation. I did use a bike to pack a 5x6 bull out as well. Same logging road. Rode the bike up to a point. Hiked to the elk, packed a quarter to the bike and coasted down hill the remaining mile or so to the truck with the quarter on my back. Repeat steps for remaining quarters. The real work was getting the beast to where the bike was, but the wheels saved me considerable walking over the course of a day.
