Just got back 17th from sweetwater Creek Bowhunting-I took a hog my 1st morning of my hunt & spent the next 3 days trying for a big Red Deer (Elk). Saw them & almost got a shot at a huge 5x5. I passed on several very large Fallow Bucks within easy bow range waiting for that Red deer-a couple Sikas passed close too-finally, the last hour of my last day I gave in and took a average Fallow Buck. It was a great hunt & I will be returning after the Ill., Iowa & Wis. Deer seasons close.
