I always see more deer in the evenings, but I usually see more bucks in the morning or mid-day. I've killed most of my big deer between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. I hunt west central AL. and we get a tremendous amount of hunting pressure. I typically try to figure out what everyone else around here is doing and then I do something completely different. Noone around here hunts mid-day so that's when I like to hunt. It works good for me. I took three bucks scoring over 130 last year. Two mid-day and one just as it was breaking day.
