RE: American Pioneer Powder
chopper-- I personally have not purchased any but I did see a person using some. There were chunks missing off the corners and sides of the stick. My first thought was, how do they get consistant powder measurements that way. I personally would save myself lots of money and get a clear see through measure and a pound of loose powder and measure my own charges.
When you go hunting, take some 35mm plastic film containers if you do not want to purchase some speed loaders, and measure out your charges and store the powder in them. Then carry five of them into the woods with you. They are just as fast as pellets, easier to carry. and a lot more cost effective.
But to each their own. Good luck with your rifle.
