I have shot it when it was Clean Shot in the pellet form. I had no problems with it using musket caps. I'm actually thinking of switching back to it. The only down side is the pellets/sticks are more expensive than loose powder is. My remington shot really well with two 50 grn pellets and a 300 grn XTP. One inch or better at 100 yards.
