Both people involved have rookie written all over them. First of all the hunter had 2 shots into the bear that didn't put it down. Obviously, both were non-lethal hits since the bear was not found. Second, the guide should have paid more attention as to what was going on. I don't think that either guide nor hunter should take on Griz unless they can stay calm under pressure. Either way this was a tragic incident.
