Default RE: Say I wanted to get a new bow..and my choices were

Hey JeffB....I guess I'm one of those idiots that buys a new bow every year but what the heck you can't take it with ya.

Seriously though I do switch bows alot and I make sure to try and shoot everything out there before I do and you won't go wrong with either brand..I don't have any experience with the OG and never shot it because it is longer ATA than I like. I did however have the X-Tec which is similar to this years V-Tec and I loved it. I had no problems out of the c.5 system and it shot extremely well. Smooth draw,Soild wall,No hand shock, and very quiet.

I have shot Hoyts for the last 4 years because I just wasn't picking up anything that really caught my attention or shot as well.

Until this year I switched to Bowtech...I am not a pronounced Bowtech Man but this new Allegiance I got is very sweet. The new equalizer technology had me interested and is why I decided to try one this year. It might not be quite as quiet as my Hoyts were but man is it a shooter. I shoot this bow better than any I've owned. It has a nice consistent draw IMO and avery soild back wall. I notice very little hand shock and it is blazing fast. I have a short DL and have never owned a hunting bow that shot over about 265-270. Well this one is pushing it out at 305-308 or so. Its just kinda neat only using one pin out to 30yds. Well just my 2cents...Good Luck with your decision...
