I went through the same situation. I ended up with the Hoyt Vtec for a couple of reasons, one was how the bow felt in my hands, the 2nd was how adjustable the cam and a half is. The bowtech is nice, but not as adjustable and since I like to play with stuff the Hoyt was the natural choice for me. So far it's been a nice bow, super quiet, fast, easy to shoot etc. If I ever get time I am going to write up a review on it, my first attempt at a bow review, but it won't be as long or boring as someone else's I used to read
