the fact that you worried about it means your on the right track.no hunter wants a bad shot,that is "no ethical hunter".do all you can to minamize the chance of a bad shot,practice-practice-practice.if 20 yards is all you confident in shooting,then limit your shots to 20 yards.never go beyond your limits,(regardless of how big the buck is)and you shouldn't have a problem.
