I called a local gunsmith and asked their advise of the two different kinds of mounts. They of course recommend the one that required them to tap the revolver. I am more inclined towards the one that does not need to be permanently mounted. My only concern is whether the other would be secure enough. I only wish I could get some hands on.. maybe it is time to travel to some different gun shops and see what they have in stock. I thank all of you for your advise and guidance..
