I use shockwave broadheads and have only heard of this happening a couple of times. If I had to guess the rubber o ring was not sitting where it was designed to sit. If properly placed, it takes minimal pressure to push back the o ring and open those blades. The o ring sits in the back just for this purpose. Not saying it couldn't happen but I love these broadheads and think they are designed extremly well.
