RE: Bow vs. Gun
I would thoroughly enjoy tagging out each year with my bow and try my best to at leaset harvest a couple of deer with it. But on my primary hunting grounds when the gun hunters start preparing for gun season the deer wise up real quickand become extra spooky. Normally by the time gun season opens I'm ready for a break and will take to a box blind with the wife in hopes of helping her tag a buck. After opening week I return to bowhunting but will hide in the blind with a scoped pistol on the rainy days.
This yearI upgraded my scoped .44mag with a Savage Striker in .308 and am really getting pumped on sighting it in and seeing what it can do accuracy wise.
I'd much rather use it on hogs than deer, but I'll have to make that decision when it presents itself.
Newweapons are always fun, no matter what they propel!
