RE: Bow vs. Gun
When I first started hunting it was only with a bow. I just felt it was more of a challenge and fair for the deer. About four years ago I started using a shotgun and rifle just to give me more time hunting. I don't like to bowhunt when it is under 30 degrees. Two years ago I bought a muzleloader and the shotgun stays in the safe. It's more of a challenge knowing I only have one shot. I have to admit that it's not as intimate when I shoot a deer with shotgun or rifle. It just brings more satisfaction when I harvest a deer with a bow.
